Mobile Gadgets: Wireless Cameras Can be Detected and Watched by a Wireless Spy Camera Hunter
We are reminded on a daily basis that strangers may be able to view our wireless network. We setup passwords and firewalls to protect our data from being stolen or corrupted. We know that strangers have gadgets that not only detect wireless networks but also tell them how secure they are. Some laptops are equipped with WiFi finders so it is no secret that people are always on the hunt for a network they can connect to.
People that are hunting for them can also detect wireless cameras within a 500 feet radius. A gadget called a “Wireless Spy Camera Hunter” does just that. The Hunter locks in on the wireless camera’s frequency and can actually display the active video on its 2.5-inch screen. That video can then be sent to a video recorder via a video out port.
In some cases the Wireless Spy Camera Hunter would be a good thing. If suspicious that you are being videoed against your will you would want to know for sure. On the other hand you should not try to invade someone’s privacy by using such a device.
