Mobile Gadgets: Garmin Nuvi 1390T Very Thin and Light Weight
There are multiple Garmin GPS Navigators. Any one in the collection will guide you to your destination in style. They are small enough to carry with you outside of your vehicle. They talk to you and allow you to talk through them on your cell phone. They even entertain you.
Garmin has announced a new model called the Nuvi 1390T. It is even thinner (just over one-half inch) and weighs less than six ounces (5.7 ounces). Many of the features are the same as found on other Nuvi models but there are several new ones.
· In some areas you can use the CityXplorer to find your way to the city transit sites
· Less time is spent waiting for the Nuvi 1390T to lock in on Satellites because it remembers the last session.
· If you are interested in a gas-saving route – just ask it
· Reports are available that lets you see your driving habits over time
· Most major road’s speed limits are shown
· Garmin Connect Photos viewable on Google Maps
Features that I also like are:
· Bluetooth
· Multi-Point Routing
· Touchscreen
· Widescreen design
· Ability to read the screen in daylight
· Lane Assist
· Voice – text to speech
I would be happy with most any Nuvi GPS Navigator. The Nuvi 1390T however is my favorite so far because it has high-end features and it is very thin.
