This picture from Amazon.com shows an unusal site - a green laptop. Green is not a color that we see a lot in our electronic gadgets. Just because we do not commonly see green gadgets does not mean that they are not available. In the past year colorful gadgets have been popping up everywhere.

The color green has been used in home furnishings forever. Some years have held green in higher esteem than others – think 1970’s. Currently the color green makes most of us think earth friendly. You may not be aware that green is considered to be a calming color. At home it tends to bring the outdoors in and on television the “green room” keeps guests relaxed.

Certain colors are most common because they please the most people. Black gadgets are available everywhere. Men are not embarrassed to be seen working on a black laptop or carrying a black cell phone. It may surprise you that many men like green because it symbolizes wealth.
