iPhone 3G: YouTube videos stave off boredom
Yesterday afternoon I had a rare thing happen. I had nearly an hour with nothing to do. Well, let’s say that I had nearly an hour that I ignored the other things that I needed to do. Instead I played with my iPhone 3G.
There may not be another single person that owns an iPhone that has not tried out YouTube. I’ve noticed the icon on my home page but just never had the need to watch. Now there will be more of an effort to find the time.
Now that I have been there I will go back. I am amazed at the clarity of video and sound produced by this phone. The screen is large enough to see details of the video. If you want to repeat part of the video the touch screen comes in handy. Simply pull the little progress arrow back with your fingertip and the video will start over.
Boredom is not an option when you can choose from the most recent, the top rated or the history setting. Simply touch your chosen video – turn the iPhone on its side – and wait for the video to load.
I remember now – this is the kind of thing that I bought the iPhone for.
