Mobile Gadgets: No trace browsers can reside on flash drives

Published by debcook under technology Edit This

Do you use computers other than your own to browse the Internet? Do you wish that your browsing sessions could be anonymous? Would you believe me if I said that this is possible?

This is not new information for most people but I know that there are still a lot of people that have not heard about “no trace browsing”.

No trace browsers can be downloaded (in most cases for free) on any computer. Many flash drives come loaded with a no trace browser.

What is a no trace browser?

· These are browsers that leave no trace of which websites you visit. No cookies or history files are saved on a computer when using one of these browsers.
· They can be used on a computer that already has another browser such as IE (Internet Explorer) or Firefox installed.
· They can be downloaded – used – and uninstalled easily

If I were planning to use a no trace browser I would have it installed on a flash drive. Most times you can save favorites on these browsers so the convenience of carrying them with you is attractive. Imagine how great it would be to use such a device during a public computer session.

There are so many no trace browsers available finding one is not a problem. Choosing which one to use might be. A simple search on Google or Yahoo will provide you with a wide variety of choices.
