I finally did it. I ordered a Dell Mini 9 Netbook. After finding one on Ebay with 2GB Ram and Windows XP Pro I could not resist any longer.

I paid a fair price for it – not cheep – but I liked the additional perks that it offered. Honestly, I do not understand how people can get their hands on items that no one else seems to have. I sell on Ebay but I am not connected well enough to offer cutting edge electronics.

The Netbook was ordered a week ago last Sunday (Tuesday was a holiday) so it has been at least five business days and it has not arrived yet. I am traveling out of town this Friday so I hope that it ships to me in time.

I asked the seller three times for a tracking number. I finally received an email today and I was surprised at what it said. The seller told me that he ordered the Netbook straight from Dell and that there was no tracking number listed. Again, how does someone order a Netbook straight from Dell that is different than one sold anywhere else – including Dell?

Hopefully I will be making my weekend posts to this blog from my new Dell Mini 9 Netbook. I will tell you whether it is worth what I paid for it and what my first impressions are. I have a little secret as well. I may tell you about it - or maybe not.
