Where electronic gadgets are sold – I am willing to go. Most of the time I’d rather shop online just because I can find the latest and greatest gadgets there.

I was surprised today when I opened an email from HomeDepot.com. Instead of seeing home improvement items and power tools I saw a TomTom GPS, a Magnavox HDTV and a Cannon digital camera. To be fair, there was a box in the bottom corner that would have taken me to the tools and ceiling fans.

I decided to click a little further into the web site and I found laptops, video cameras and video game controllers. There were even accessories for the Nintendo Wii. I see nothing wrong with Home Depot selling electronic gadgets in their online store. There are some pretty good deals to be had. Product descriptions, customer reviews and warranty information is available with a few simple clicks of a mouse.

What we should all take from this is that we should not limit ourselves to the most obvious shopping sites. Before you buy maybe you should check out the less obvious sites.
