Mobile Gadgets: Confusing searches for TSA approved laptop bag
Have you noticed that more and more Google searches lead to sites that have nothing to do with the original search? Over the last couple of weeks I have become painfully aware of this issue.
Searching for a bag that touts a faster and easier trip through airport security brought this issue front and center. Not knowing the name of the particular bag I entered numerous phrases into the Google search box. Every single time I was taken to a site that absolutely had nothing to do with any type of bag. What is the deal here? Is anyone else noticing this phenomenon?
After searching for the Aerovation laptop bag and getting stuck on multiple “sticky” sites I finally saw an advertisement for this particular bag.
The secret seems to be the wording of the search phrase. Instead of saying “airport approved laptop bag” or “laptop bag approved by TSA” or even “Aerovation laptop bags” the successful search words are “checkpoint-friendly laptop bag”. Who knew?
