Mobile Gadgets - 3 bags have caught my eye

Published by debcook under technology Edit This

When did you last search for an interesting bag? So many bags out there (in the stores and on the web) have the same old tired designs as every other bag. They are either too big or too small to accommodate what you need to carry.

During a bag search this evening I found a few interesting ones – in fact I bought multiples of one.

Toshiba offers ordinary computer bags but they also have computer bags that are not the norm. I like the portfolio (FieldMate) computer cases because they offer ease of use both in the office and outside. More computer companies should offer specially designed portfolio bags for their computers.

They have a little bag called the “Toshiba Accessory Pouch for the FieldMate” that measures about 9” x 3” 1.5”. I love the two clips that allow you to attach it to another bag. How many times have you needed just a little more room in your bag? I should have that covered since I bought three. One will be used daily and the other two will be used when I travel.

Gateway has a bag called the “Gateway 9906596R Sling Messenger Case”. My sling bag has been my favorite bag for years. One day I was passing through the LA airport and saw a silver sling bag slung across another passenger’s body. I did not rest until I found one for myself. It was a silver color with 2 zip pockets on the front and one large open main pocket. It held a lot but still fit close to the body.

This Gateway sling bag has caught my attention as well. I like the organizational pockets and the medium size. The sling feature sells me most of all.

I carry several electronic gadgets – including a small laptop – everyday of the week so my bag is an important accessory. I am waiting for that perfect bag. I know that it is out there – somewhere.
