Mobile Gadgets - Bluetooth headsets deserve protection
Where do you keep your Bluetooth headset when you are not wearing it on you ear? There is not much said about how sturdy these little gadgets are but I would guess that just tossing in a bag or on a desk is asking for trouble. For as little as $10 you can protect the larger investment made in a Bluetooth headset.
You may be surprised that there are colorful and sturdy little cases designed to protect Bluetooth headsets. As with cell phone cases these are more or less sized for a specific group of headsets. Bluetooth headsets by Motorola, Plantronics and even the Jawbone I and II can be stylishly stored in cases of pink, green, silver, blue, black and lavender. Some cases are soft sided and some are hard shell. Some have clips and some have zippers.
Whichever carrying case suits your wants and needs the best should be large enough to hold the headset with the earhook attached. Often there will also be enough room to store an extra earhook or rubber speaker ring. You should not have to worry that the on/off button will be pushed while in the case.
Holsters and pouches are other options. These are not as bulky or as colorful yet they still hold the Bluetooth headset firmly. The belt clip on the back will hold tight to a belt or bag.
The idea is to keep the Bluetooth headset both safe and handy. Handsfree laws across the country are being written to limit cell phone use while driving a vehicle so don’t get caught driving without your Bluetooth headset.
