Gadgets - Handy accessory where you least expect it

Published by debcook under technology Edit This

Charging a cell phone, a Bluetooth headset, a digital camera or even an MP3 player is easy, but remembering to take it as you walk out of the door is often not so easy. Mine are usually lying on my desk and easy to remember but if I plug one in somewhere else in the house I stand a good chance of forgetting it.

Early mornings are the worst. If I am in the bathroom getting ready for the day I take my cell phone in with me. I need to be ready to answer it quickly and I may not hear it from my desk. I worry that it will get wet or will be knocked off the counter.

I found a gadget type device that makes me think, “Why didn’t I think of that”? It may not be perfect but it would be handy. The Socket Pocket holds small electric gadgets next to the electrical outlet. Just picture a small plastic box hanging on the wall with an electrical outlet immediately next to it.

Although a Socket Pocket would work on any electrical outlet there are few rooms that have the electrical outlets high enough on the wall to make them really useful. Sure it would work down near the floor but I know that I would surely forget that my cell phone was there while running out of the door.
