Baby monitors with high-end features usually cost closer to $200. I was disappointed that the average monitor size is 2.5”. Personally I would buy one that could be connected to a television even if I had to buy a television strictly for this purpose.

The wireless networked baby monitors can have interference from cell phones and other 2.4GHz wireless devices. It has been reported that neighbors sometimes pick up video and audio from each other’s home. Changing the network channel should correct this problem. A 900 MHz baby monitor will not be affected by 2.4 GHz devices.

Just moving around the house can be stressful when you need to monitor someone or something in a different room. Unfortunately some feel that monitoring is necessary while away from the home. Fortunately there are monitors to fit most every need within the budget of most people.
