I am looking for a tote for my UMPC laptop and finding one has not been easy. Most are either too large or too small. A laptop sleeve would be great except that it would not protect the touch screen very well.

Why is the selection so small? I suppose the demand is not high enough yet. Early adopters have to deal with issues like this all the time.

Belkin has a few 7” laptop sleeves with an optional handle. They are good looking but they are soft sided and they are too small for my Samsung Q1UP.

Samsung sells an organizer of sorts for the Q1UP that also holds the available portable keyboard.

Case Logic sells a few DVD cases that are nearly the right size – but carrying one all day would be out of the question. They are too large to slip inside my purse and they will not hold all of my daily accessories.

Eleksen has a cool UMPC case that is also a fabric keyboard. I may have to try this one for sure.

OtterBox is very protective. They are probably the most protective of any case that I have seen. Amazingly the UMPC can be used while in the OtterBox case. They just seem bulky to me. If I were going to use my UMPC outside I would probably opt for one of these. I kind of like the yellow one.

Please let me know if you have found a great case for small Touchscreen PCs. The size needs to be approximately 12” x 9” and not too bulky.
