iPhone 3G - Stylus Possibilities

Do you know that an iPhone can be used with a stylus? Although it may be difficult to keep up with it you might think that it’s worth the effort. I have small fingers and it is difficult to type on my iPhone so I can only imagine someone with larger fingers and the difficulty they face.
I have learned to touch each letter in a particular way. Touching each letter on the far left side towards the top gives me the most success. The same goes for navigation as well. I know – I know, the iPhone is not supposed to be used with a stylus. I say – anything that improves the iPhone experience is OK with me.
The iPhone touchscreen is designed to work with the touch of your fingertips. An ordinary stylus will not work. A soft tipped stylus is necessary to mimic the touch of a real fingertip. If you are like me and would like to try an iPhone stylus here is a list of some that are available on the Internet.
- Pogo Stylus (tenonedesign.com or Thinkgeek.com)
- Japanese Touch Pen Stylus (ThinkGeek.com)
- Stylus for iPhone/iTouch (Amazon.com)
- Soft-Touch Stylus (daydeal.com)
- Apple iPhone Stylus Pen (oriongadgets.com)
- TapRight (taprightigiki.com)
If I have plenty of time I do not mind typing with my fingertips. When in a hurry I’d rather have a stylus. It is embarrassing for example when I need to type in an appointment and someone is waiting on me to get it done. Bottom line - my information is more important than how I enter it.
