iPhone 3G - High hopes for update 2.0.2
2008-08-19 21:00:21
The iPhone 3G has another update. This one is called 2.0.2. Just yesterday I talked about the fix that was reportedly coming for the 2% - 3% of iPhone 3G users that were experiencing reception and dropped call problems. Who knew that it would be here so soon? The squeaky wheel apparently got some attention and now hopes are high.
This update is supposed to fix “bugs” and we all hope that the reception and connection issues are included as well. No one paying the amount of money we all pay every month should have to put up with buggy cell phones.
If I were having trouble with my iPhone 3G I would update to 2.0.2. Since I am not having any problems I will leave well enough alone. As mentioned in my previous posts I have yet to download any Apps from the App Store. I am still hesitant to do so. There are some iPhones having App issues after the 2.0.2 update. Shoot – there were App problems after the first update 2.0.1.
The iPhone 2.0.2 is available on the iTunes site. If you are one of the unfortunate iPhone owners having problems updating would probably be a good idea – but I’ll say it again – don’t fix it unless its broken.
