Bluetooth Wireless Headsets; I need to make a decision

Sometimes a great electronic gadget can go wrong. Case in point – my Motorola H12 Wireless Bluetooth Headset. It is absolutely gorgeous with what I think is a retro look. It reminds me of an old fashion radio. However, over the last few weeks I am having issues with it’s function.
Before the H12 I used a Motorola HS850 Bluetooth Headset. I liked it a lot. The only reason I shopped for a new model is that I wanted a headset that filtered background noise better.
The best features of the HS850 – microphone closes to turn it on and off, easy to pair up to my cell phone, long battery life – up to 8 hours talk time, it is very light weight and the sound is clear – as long as there is not a lot of background noise to deal with. In fact, my husband said that he could hear me talk over my cell phone much better with the HS850 than without it.
The best features of the H12 – Great looks, small footprint, lightweight, decent talk time – about 6 hours talk time, when working right – the sound is quite loud, blocks background noise and comes with two chargers.
If you noticed I said – when it works right – this is the issue. When I first bought my H12 I had to turn the volume down. Now, I can hardly hear anything at all and the volume seems to be stuck on – not very loud.
Tomorrow I plan to take it back to the AT&T store to see if there is anything that can be done. I am trying to decide whether I want another Motorola Bluetooth Headset or whether I’d like to try the new-smaller Jawbone.
I will let you know which one I choose as soon as I know myself.
